The company, which is “the only provider of self-healing, intelligent security solutions” has released new updates to both its Absolute Secure Endpoint and Absolute Access Endpoint security solutions.

The new announcement reinforces the company’s launch of Absolute ZTNA, the first self-healing zero trust network access solution in the industry.

Absolute says that combined with Absolute ZTNA’s unique firmware embedded self-healing capabilities, Absolute Secure Endpoint and Absolute Secure Access provide customers with a true zero-trust environment, with greater software integration, better security visibility and an optimal user experience.

“Our common platform addresses a wide range of market needs, as we have the unique ability to apply self-healing capabilities to devices, applications, and network access,” Absolute Software executive vice president of product and strategy John Herrema said.

“Organisations are acknowledging that they need resilience-focused zero trust approaches, capable of integrating endpoint and access assessments at every step.

“By providing the critical components needed to achieve that resiliency — deep visibility, intelligence, and firmware-embedded persistence we are enabling them to not only protect devices, data, and users but also ensure critical controls are operating at maximum efficacy.”

Absolute Secure Endpoint has been updated to feature the following capabilities:

  • Public API expansion – adds new APIs to current library for better integration with existing workflows.
  • Absolute Connector for ServiceNow – allows for efficient responses to service requests by enabling joint customers to access Absolute’s comprehensive asset intelligence and single source of truth within their ServiceNow platform environment.
  • Expanded Application Resilience catalogue – now has support for over 60 critical security applications that security administrators can self-heal across their endpoints.

Absolute Secure Access will be updated to feature the following capabilities in January 2023:

  • New look and feel – refreshed look featuring new colours, names and icons to reflect new product names, while maintaining same core functionality and smooth experience.
  • SaaS enhancements – adds native NAT capabilities and enhanced alerting.
  • Enhanced 5G telemetry and detection – updated insights for network dashboards to 5G mid-band spectrum and reflect improved 5G sensitivity.
  • Deeper visibility – enhanced Secure Access/webservice API now offers programmatic access to key pool performance metrics, including status information for our active/active server infrastructure.
  • Faster NAC checks – optimised NAC capabilities that reduce VPN connection time.
  • Android client enhancements – Android specific updates to improve user experience. Network telemetry can now be collected with the screen off to save battery, meaning administrators have an actionable device and network information even if a device is in sleep mode. Android cryptographic libraries providing FIPS 140-2 cryptography have also been updated.
