The new partnership will use Eutelsat’s OneWeb low-earth-orbit technology to bring enhanced communications to remote industries in Australia and New Zealand.
Orange Business and Perth-based satellite company Sat.One have announced a partnership that will leverage Eutelsat’s OneWeb low-earth-orbit technology to bring greater connectivity to businesses in remote areas of Australia and New Zealand.
The partnership extends a global agreement made between Orange SA and Eutelsat to deliver real-time data and communications to mining, public sector, and financial service industries in the ANZ region.
“Given the vast and remote nature of Australia, many of our key industries operate in hard-to-reach locations that require reliable, seamless and secure connectivity. At Orange Business, we understand the critical role that these industries play in the country's economy, and we are committed to supporting them with innovative digital infrastructure,” Andrew Borthwick, Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand at Orange Business said in a statement.
