US cyber security and services provider Trustwave has announced its appointment to the Department of Defence’s Information Communications Technology Provider Arrangement (ICTPA) panel.

The ICTPA panel is a part of the department’s procurement process, simplifying the acquisition of cyber security and technology platforms.

According to the company, the appointment to the panel is a “significant milestone” for Trustwave Asia-Pacific and will provide the company with new opportunities to work with Defence.

“Trustwave’s appointment to the ICTPA panel will enable Defence and intelligence agencies to leverage its sovereign, high-quality, and flexible cyber security capabilities,” Jason Whyte, general manager of Asia-Pacific at Trustwave, said in a statement.

“This opportunity solidifies our commitment to delivering exceptional cyber security services and reinforces our role as a key player in protecting Australia’s national interests.”

Trustwave, which is headquartered in Chicago but has offices in Sydney, said it is “dedicated to safeguarding Australia’s digital landscape with unparalleled expertise and dedication”.

“We will continue to commit to supporting Defence and intelligence agencies in protecting Australia and its national interests,” Whyte said.
