Air Marshal Darren Goldie will be sitting down for an online, public town hall next month.
The inaugural national cyber security coordinator made the announcement yesterday (25 October) on LinkedIn.
“Got questions about cyber security? Curious about what the national cyber security coordinator does?” Air Marshall Goldie asked in his 25 October post.
“Join me at a public town hall event on 7 November, 11:30am to 12:30pm AEDT, to hear about my priorities and experiences. I’ll also be answering your questions about cyber security.”
The event is ostensibly targeted at certified information security managers, but it sounds like anyone can join. There’s a website to sign up for the event, and all you need to part with is your name, organisation, and email.
The event is organised by the Cyber and Infrastructure Security Centre, and we’re pretty sure it’s not just phishing for information.
David Hollingworth has been writing about technology for over 20 years, and has worked for a range of print and online titles in his career. He is enjoying getting to grips with cyber security, especially when it lets him talk about Lego.
