Describe the last 12 months that led the team to the Australian Cyber Awards nomination?
The past 12 months have been exceptional for Fuse Technology. Several milestones were reached and have strengthened our position of trusted leader in IT and cybersecurity in Australia and beyond.
One achievement was securing our largest customer to date, a market leader in the built environment sector. This leading organisation chose to entrust us with their IT and cybersecurity, validating our capability to support larger SMBs with over 300 employees. This win can be attributed to our leadership’s strategic vision and ability to foster trust through consistent delivery of high-value, reliable services.
Our inclusion in the CRN Fast 50 also validates our successful year. Driven by a streamlined product portfolio and operational efficiency, our revenue grew significantly year on year, which allowed us to rank 33rd on the top 50 fastest growing IT companies in 2024.
Leadership played a pivotal role in scaling our efforts, focusing on educating businesses, organising events to help SMBs combat cyber risks, and building strong partnerships with peak bodies like the Migration Institute of Australia or technology partners such as Ingram Micro or Microsoft. These initiatives allowed us to educate businesses at scale while building trust and authority in the Australian market.
The integration of our Vietnam office into Fuse Technology was another significant milestone. Central to our global strategy, the Vietnam team manages backend requests, reduces operational costs, and produce better service for our global clients. This new organisation could not have been achieved without our Managing Director, whose connections in Vietnam and vision for a scalable, cost-effective business model were instrumental.
The opening of our Canada office marks our official entry into the North American market and strengthen our ability to provide uninterrupted support to our global clients. Our Managing Director's relationships were instrumental in forming a strong leadership team with deep industry expertise in Canada.
Our leadership team embodies our company values - Do the Right Thing, Can Do Attitude, Commitment, and Striving for Continuous Improvement – This guides the entire team in how we engage with the market. Combined with a culture of innovation and collaboration, this approach sets us apart.
This culture of innovation and our forward-thinking mindset earned several industry recognitions this year, including a second-place award at the Ingram One Innovation Summit Shark Tank competition and finalist nominations in the CRN Impact Awards, ARN Innovation Awards and now the Cyberdaily Australian Cybersecurity Awards.
What differentiates your team from competitors?
At Fuse Technology, what sets us apart is a combination of strong values, a culture of innovation, and a deep commitment to customer outcomes.
Our core values—Do the Right Thing, Can Do Attitude, Commitment, and Striving for Continuous Improvement—guide everything we do. They shape the way we work with customers, support one another, and make decisions. Our leadership team actively lives these values, which builds trust and alignment across the business.
We are more than an IT provider, we see ourselves as business partner to our clients. Our team doesn’t just deliver technical solutions. We take the time to know and understand our clients’ businesses, their goals, challenges, and context. This approach allows us to work in alignment with our clients, and create long-term impact.
This partnership mindset is embedded in how we engage, communicate, and support our customers. It’s not about modernising at all cost; it’s about helping businesses make the right technology decisions that will help them grow and stay secure as they do. Our philosophy is to manage our client’s IT like it is our own.
Our organisation also sets us apart. We operate globally with teams in Australia, Vietnam, the UK, and Canada allows us to provide 24/7 service for our clients, ensuring we can act fast and protect all our managed users around the clock. In a world of decentralised workforce, this really makes a difference.
How do you innovate and stay ahead of industry trends?
Innovation is at the heart of our culture, it helps us stay ahead in the fast-moving cybersecurity landscape and deliver lasting value to our clients.
This culture of innovation can be seen across all aspects of our organisation.
From a product perspective, our flagship cyber security solution, Fuse365, is more than just a service—it represents a genuine partnership with our clients. In a true partnership, everyone has skin in the game. That’s why we have introduced a financially backed guarantee as part of Fuse365, a unique approach in our industry that reflects both our confidence in our solution and our commitment to sharing risk with our customers. This builds trust and reinforces our role as a critical partner in protecting their operations.
Fuse365 is a dynamic and evolving product, designed for SMBs in professional services to deliver enterprise-level security without complexity or high costs.
Aligned with the ACSC Essential 8 cybersecurity framework, Fuse 365 meets 100% of Levels 1 & 2 and over 90% of Level 3 (Australia’s most comprehensive security standard).
As the threat landscape shifts and cybersecurity baselines change, we continuously enhance Fuse365 existing features and introduce new layers of protection. For example, application control and device protection are now included even in our entry-level offering, reflecting our belief that strong security should be accessible from the outset.
Our innovation also extends to how we approach the market. Cybersecurity isn’t just a technology issue—it’s also a people issue. Human error remains the leading cause of cyber breaches, which is why we a large part of our mission is to educate the business eco-system. Through webinars, workshops, and community events—many delivered in partnership with industry bodies—we reached over 2,000 participants in 2024, helping build a more cyber-aware and resilient business community.
Operationally, we continue to innovate and improve the way we deliver our service. The opening of our Vietnam office has enabled us to provide 24/7 support, enhancing our ability to respond to incidents quickly and deliver around-the-clock protection to our customers
Finally, innovation at Fuse is amplified by our strategic partnerships with leading technology providers such as Microsoft. These relationships give us early access to emerging tools and allow us to integrate best-in-class solutions into our services—ensuring our clients benefit from technology that is both cutting-edge and tailored to their industry-specific needs.
What are some of your goals for the next 5 years?
Looking ahead, our core mission remains unchanged: to help small and medium-sized businesses strengthen their cybersecurity posture and operate with confidence in an increasingly digital world.
Over the next five years, one of our key focus areas will be helping businesses prepare for and embrace the rise of AI. While AI presents significant opportunities for efficiency and innovation, it also introduces new risks. As AI adoption accelerates, implementing robust security practices and clear data governance become more critical than ever. We are committed to helping our clients navigate this shift safely, by offering guidance, tools, and frameworks that enable secure and responsible AI adoption.
We are also planning to expand our global presence, particularly across Europe and North America, where we have an established presence, to better support clients with distributed teams.
Many of our customers now operate with hybrid or decentralised workforces, and having support across time zones is essential for both responsiveness and resilience. Our goal is to provide consistent, high-quality support wherever our clients are, and wherever their people are working.
Internally, we will continue to invest in our people, processes, and operational capabilities, ensuring that we maintain the agility, culture, and client focus that define Fuse Technology.
