CrowdStrike Falcon Application Security Posture Management is now fully integrated with CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security.
CrowdStrike has announced the general availability of CrowdStrike Falcon Application Security Posture Management (ASPM).
The cyber security firm made the announcement at the RSA Conference 2024 in San Francisco overnight, saying that Falcon ASPM is now integrated with the CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security platform.
“The complexity of cloud environments and rapid pace of changes creates misconfigurations and vulnerabilities that adversaries increasingly exploit,” Karan Gupta, head of engineering at CrowdStrike, said in a statement.
“Disjointed point products and fragmented platforms create gaps in security defences that can lead to a breach.
“With the integration of Falcon ASPM with Falcon Cloud Security, we’re providing one platform that provides comprehensive risk visibility and workload protection across the entire cloud estate. This revolutionises CNAPP with integrated ASPM and provides organisations with a blueprint that bridges the gap between their security and development teams.”
According to CrowdStrike, cloud intrusions have increased by 75 per cent in 2024 compared with 2023, and ASPM’s integration into Falcon Cloud Security delivers protection and risk visibility across an organisation’s entire cloud.
“With CrowdStrike Falcon ASPM, we’ve gone from multiple tools, high complexity and spending a lot for poor visibility to a single pane of glass where we can do everything with one platform,” Jason Deluce, director of information technology at Porter Airlines and a client of CrowdStrike, said.
“Cyber security is key to scaling the company, and we know CrowdStrike is there for us.”
