PureID’s identity and access management skills will be used to boost ColorToken’s Xshield platform and help minimise the impact of data breaches.
Enterprise micro-segmentation firm ColorTokens has announced the acquisition of access management and identity security firm PureID.
PureID’s AI-based access regulation will help further boost the security of ColorToken’s Xshield micro-segmentation platform and provide customers with identity-based cloud and containerised environments, IoT and IT environments, and wider user-based environments where user-specific policies can be easily maintained.
“PureID’s identity-based segmentation aligns with our vision to provide stronger segmentation and smarter containment while still allowing reliably identified access to business-critical resources,” Rajesh Khazanchi, ColorTokens’ CEO, said in a statement.
“These capabilities play a key role in the continuous enhancement of our Xshield product to ensure organisations are effectively protected from the growing risk of cyber security threats.”
At the same time, PureID will continue to serve and grow its own customer base for its cryptographically secured, passwordless multifactor authentication (MFA) platform, PureAUTH.
“We are excited for ColorTokens to leverage PureID’s segment-leading, true-passwordless identity access management capabilities in their comprehensive breach-ready strategy,” said Ajit Hatti, PureID’s CEO.
“Together, we will tremendously minimise the impact of a breach for businesses.”
