The company’s Exposure Command platform now supports AWS resource control policies.
US cyber security firm Rapid7 has announced a new partnership with Amazon Web Services.
Under the partnership, Rapid7’s Exposure Command solution will now support recently launched AWS resource control policies (RCPs).
RCPs let AWS customers manage permissions across an entire business and establish a data perimeter to restrict access to data from external locations.
Rapid7’s Exposure Command supports organisations in implementing zero-trust policies across their network and cloud infrastructure. Exposure Command already supports AWS Service Control Policies to set permissions at a higher level, and RCP support will give AWS customers an even higher level of control over data resource access.
With Exposure Command’s RCP support, customers can take advantage of centralised monitoring of governance policies, better access and identity controls, proactive recommendations, and a wide variety of tools such as vulnerability identification and real-time threat alerts.
“We’re proud to partner with AWS for their RCP launch, as we believe it underscores our organisations’ shared commitment to advancing cloud security,” Craig Adams, chief product officer at Rapid7, said in a statement.
“Now, our combined support for RCPs and SCPs in Exposure Command significantly reduces identity-based risk for our customers, ensuring they have the tools needed to enforce zero-trust policies, manage cloud permissions, and confidently drive innovation at scale.”
