Cyber professionals encouraged to submit for Australian Cyber Awards 2025

Submissions and nominations are open for the Australian Cyber Awards 2025 – stand up and be recognised as Cyber Security Champion of the Year.

The leading awards program recognises the top-performing businesses and professionals revolutionising Australia’s cyber sector.

The awards are open to cyber professionals across the industry, from defence to insurance, cloud services, technology, STEM, consultancy, and ransomware protection.

Submit an entry or nominate a colleague by Tuesday, 4 February 2025, to be recognised as Cyber Security Champion of the Year - Internal.

There are 14 individual and 15 group categories on offer, including the Cyber Security Champion of the Year - Internal.

The Cyber Security Champion of the Year - Internal award recognises an in-house employee who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to driving and upholding strong cyber security practices within their organisation or company.

The entrant can be employed in an IT role or another departments that oversees the cyber security practices for the organisation or company.

All employees are encouraged to participate irrespective of location, company size, or years of experience.

All businesses and professionals across Australia’s cyber sector who meet eligibility criteria are encouraged to participate in the awards program.

The Australian Cyber Awards, in conjunction with event stakeholders Cyber Daily, Momentum Media, and a panel of leading cyber professionals, utilise a robust awards methodology to form the backbone for assessing and benchmarking Australia’s leading cyber professionals and businesses. The judging criteria for award categories are both quantitative and qualitative, acknowledging growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence, and contribution to Australia’s cyber sector.
