Accenture’s AI Refinery platform will pair with CyberArk’s Identity Security Platform to create a complete AI agent security solution.
CyberArk and Accenture have announced a collaboration aimed at providing enterprises with the tools to apply zero-trust principles to aid in the secure uptake of agentic AI.
The partnership combines CyberArk’s Identity Security Platform with Accenture’s AI Refinery.
The CyberArk Identity Security Platform is a unified platform designed to secure the wide array of identities propagating across modern environments. Accenture AI Refinery is designed to manage the uptake of AI across the enterprise.
With agentic AI set to multiply, the capacity to manage these growing identities securely is only going to get more complex, according to Matt Cohen, CyberArk’s CEO.
“AI agents have the potential to gain privileged access to systems and processes, so they require the same level of identity security controls as human and machine identities,” Cohen said in a statement.
“By combining the comprehensive identity security capabilities of the CyberArk platform with the powerful functionality of Accenture’s AI Refinery, we will be enabling our customers to realise the full potential of agentic AI to transform their businesses with the peace of mind that comes with knowing the agent identities are secure.”
Accenture’s Technology Vision 2025 report showed that 77 per cent of executives believe AI agents will completely change the way digital systems are built, meaning getting their implementation right the first time is vital.
“AI agents operate autonomously, presenting unique identity security challenges. Ensuring secure authentication, credentialing and authorisation is crucial for their safe operation both within and outside of organisations,” Damon McDougald, global cyber security protection lead at Accenture, said.
“Our collaboration with CyberArk by integrating Accenture’s AI Refinery into their platform is a significant step forward in helping our clients achieve secure identity access controls and more effective credential management.”
Integrating the company’s two platforms will offer greater visibility and control of agentic AI activity, enforce zero-trust methodologies to limit access to only what AI needs to do its job, secure identity authentication, and defend against attempts to manipulate AI agents.
