The firms have been awarded contracts to provide end-user computing and support for Defence’s ICT infrastructure.
The Department of Defence has awarded contracts to Leidos, KBR, and Fujitsu, as part of a $175 million program to upgrade Defence’s ICT infrastructure, which provides key command, control, situational awareness, and allied/partner interoperability services for ADF personnel across all battlespace domains.
Specifically, the firms have been tasked with working collaboratively to provide:

Leidos, KBR and Fujitsu are expected to work alongside the Information Officer Group, the three services (Army, Navy, and Air Force), the Joint Capabilities Group, and the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group.
“This win bolsters the sovereign industry capabilities of our Mission IT and Security Solutions business and fosters growth in Australian industry through our partnering with oobe, an innovative local company that leads transformation of legacy systems to secure cloud platforms,” Rob Hawketts, KBR's vice president, government solutions, Asia Pacific, said.
Paul Chase, Leidos Australia CEO, added:. “We have a longstanding relationship with Defence CIOG, providing innovative, secure and sustainable industry-leading solutions and services.
“Defence is highly reliant on information and digital communication wherever they operate. Through this contract we will provide security services within the deployed ecosystem.
"We look forward to collaborating with CIOG, the Service Delivery and Capability Managers for the deployed environments and other partners to provide a reliable secure warfighting and business network in the rapidly evolving deployed environment.”
