Nikki Saunders has joined Schneider Electric in a new role as the cyber security ecosystem program manager.
Saunders is now responsible for strengthening Schneider’s Pacific cyber security capabilities to anticipate and address customers’ strategy and architecture needs.
Building a more sustainable ecosystem through implementing new initiatives is one of Saunders' key priorities and her role will also require Saunders to grow and optimise an external partner network to stay ahead of ever-changing digital trends and industry requirements.
Saunders has over 10 years of proven experience in go-to-market strategy development and execution, and partner management.
Prior to joining Schneider Electric, she held management positions at Vocus, TLC Marketing and IBM.
According to Mauro DelleMonache, vice-president for industry - Pacific at Schneider Electric, bringing Saunders into the team is a "win".
“Nikki’s extensive experience will make a significant contribution to creating positive synergies between systems and software for our customers, sustained by first-class cyber security capability.
“As technology and digital capabilities continue to transform, our cyber security team needs to be highly skilled, innovative, agile and adaptive.
"Nikki has had an impressive career to date and bringing someone of her calibre into the team is a huge win," DelleMonache said.
Speaking on her appointment, Saunders is aiming to expand and improve on Schneider Electric's current cyber security strategies.
"This is a great opportunity which will see me engaging with a range of key stakeholders to ensure we continue to deliver as the digital landscape progresses.”
“I am excited to be joining the well-established cyber security team at Schneider Electric and have the chance to build on their already strong cyber security strategies," Saunders said.
In February 2021, Schneider Electric was named the world’s most sustainable corporation by Corporate Knights Global 100 Index and has had a string of high-profile and experienced new hires over the past quarter, with Saunders being the second to join the Australia team under DelleMonache’s leadership.
