BeyondTrust is building on its existing framework with Microsoft Teams by releasing the BeyondTrust Remote Support 22.2 to bolster Remote Support integration.
The new BeyondTrust release introduces 1:1 screen sharing for a Microsoft Teams chat, multi-portal support, custom greetings, and instance customisation for remote support users.
With the sustained increase in remote and hybrid working, Tal Guest, senior director of product management at BeyondTrust, explained that Microsoft Teams has become a critical connection and collaboration tool for many organisations.
"Recognising this new reality, BeyondTrust set out to bring remote support functionality to the Teams chat function where many interactions with customers occur on a constant basis."

Users can now leverage the extended capabilities of Remote Support further into the systems and processes that service desks rely on. The Remote Support External Jump Groups integration with BeyondTrust Password Safe extends access capabilities via SSH and RDP which simplifies the workflow.
