Cloud security company Rapid7 has announced the appointment of Anita Moorhouse to the position of partner director for the Asia-Pacific and Japan region.
This will be the first time the company has had a partner director actually based in the region they are managing.
Rapid7 believes this underscores the “deepening commitment” the company has to the region and its partners.
“With such a diverse and successful background, Anita will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to the Rapid7 team here in Melbourne and throughout the greater APJ region,” said Rob Dooley, Rapid7’s vice-president for the region. “We have experienced steady growth over the last few years and expect to see momentum increase in 2023 and beyond.”
Moorhouse herself believes she has a lot to bring to the table.
“I have enjoyed more than three decades in the technology sector and am relishing the opportunity of a new challenge in the strategically significant field of cyber security,” Moorhouse said in a statement.
“I am passionate about the channel and look forward to collaborating with our partners for mutual success as we deliver industry-leading, best-in-class technologies and services alongside noteworthy research and strategic expertise to end customers.”
Moorhouse previously worked at Qualtrics, where she headed up its ANZ partner ecosystem. Before that, she was a senior sales leader for Google Cloud.
“We are delighted to welcome Anita, who brings a wealth of energy, knowledge, and experience to Rapid7,” said Alex Page, VP of global channel and emerging technology sales at Rapid7. “Anita’s leadership will be instrumental in reinforcing and expanding our partner strategy and operations across the APJ region.”
