Remote access scams don’t rely on any digital intrusions other than asking for an invite.
A scammer might pretend to be support staff from telcos or internet providers and will call victims up, warning them they may be infected by a dangerous virus. Using this fear tactic, the scammers then ask for access to your computer, and before you know it, you’re system – and your data – is compromised.
