The identity security company’s software has been picked by a top Department of Defense technology integrator.
Australian identity security firm ViewDS Identity Solutions’ software has been chosen for implementation into Zigabyte’s Junto Edge zero-trust solution.
Zigabyte is one of the top suppliers of project services and support for the US Department of Defense.
Junto Edge is an identity credential and access management (ICAM) solution that combines a range of security and access management technologies, from multifactor authentication to role-based access control.
Bob White, chief executive of ViewDS, feels ViewDS’ selection validates the company’s work in security.
“We are delighted that Zigabyte has selected our software after a rigorous and exacting evaluation and testing process,” White said in a statement.
“It is further testimony that Australian security software is globally competitive and standards-compliant. We are very excited about the relationship, the global potential for our company, and the export revenues it will generate for Australian technology, especially considering the new AUKUS agreements”.
ViewDS Identity Solutions is based in Melbourne, and its products are already used in countries around the world, from APAC to the Americas, in sectors including intelligence agencies, homeland security, and border and air traffic control.
“The partnership with ViewDS Identity Solutions has provided an architecture that is innovative and world-leading,” said Zigabyte boss Zebulon Griggs.
“The Junto Edge product is gaining recognition and acceptance, particularly within the US Department of Defense, and we are hopeful that this impetus will be recognised by coalition partners such as Australia.”
